It’s a fact that academic/university/healthcare professionals give of themselves in a very deep way. But the heart must feed itself in order to give to the body. A challenge can be anything going on in your life you feel comfortable discussing, which is reasonable, and honestly usually all relates together no matter which compartment of your life (work, friends, health) is being affected. These are skills that can be used in leadership and professional interactions, and are useful in navigating humanity! A few of these skills are listening hard, knowing how to be curious instead of judgmental, asking powerful questions, etc. Many skills are discovered on an individual basis while on a coaching journey.
